Amsterdam Transparent Gesso is the perfect priming medium for anyone who wants an absorbent and durable ground without covering the natural appearance of the surface. Perfect for both acrylic and oil paint, and can be used on a wide range of surfaces such as canvas, wood, card and paper. It can be mixed with white or black gesso from the Amsterdam range to create custom toned grounds.

Volume 120 ml

Features:
  • Transparent primer for an absorbent surface without covering the substrate.
  • Can be used as it is or mixed with acrylic paint.
  • Preserves the original tone of the colour when mixed.
  • Provides excellent adhesion for acrylic and oil paints.
  • Adheres to canvas (linen, cotton), wood, plywood, cardboard, paper and more.
  • Also suitable as a ground for wall paintings on concrete, plaster and brick.
  • Water-resistant when dry.
  • Clean brushes and tools with water.
  • Apply at temperatures above 10 °C. Protect from frost.
