The Faber-Castell Goldfaber Aqua 36-set contains highly pigmented watercolour pencils with a smooth colour laydown and intense, vibrant colours. The pencils can be used dry like traditional coloured pencils or together with water to create watercolour effects.

The fully water-soluble lead allows the colour to be easily dissolved and worked with a damp brush. This makes it possible to create soft transitions, colour blends and a variety of watercolour effects. The pencils are also suitable for traditional coloured pencil techniques such as shading, layering and blending without water.

Goldfaber Aqua pencils have a 3.3 mm lead with high break resistance and good lightfastness. They are easy to sharpen with a standard pencil sharpener and are suitable for everything from sketching and illustration to colouring and watercolour painting. To activate the colour with water, use a damp brush – the pencils should not be dipped directly into water.

The set contains 36 selected colours and comes in a practical metal tin.
