The brush tip allows you to mix and layer paint like a regular marker, paint like a watercolour (but with more precision and control), and practice lettering and other techniques that require a brush tip. The broad tip, on the other hand, is perfect for filling large areas of colour, creating bold lines and adding depth.
The pencils can be used with water to achieve the ultimate watercolour effect.
Use the pencils on any paper you like! However, if a lot of water is to be used, a watercolour paper is preferable.
