Liquitex Basics Acrylic Fluorescents is a set of six acrylic paints in intense fluorescent shades. The bright neon colours create strong contrasts and vibrant details in paintings, illustrations and mixed media projects.

The Basics range has a medium-bodied consistency that is easy to work with and suitable for both details and larger areas of colour. The paints offer good pigmentation, are easy to mix and dry to a satin-matt finish.

The fluorescent colours are suitable for a wide range of paintable surfaces, including canvas, paper, wood and card. They can be used straight from the tube, thinned with water or mixed with Liquitex acrylic medium to create different shades and effects.

Fluorescent pigments generally have lower lightfastness than traditional pigments and are therefore best suited to work where strong colour intensity is the main focus.
