Give finished acrylic paintings a high-gloss, protective surface with Liquitex Professional High Gloss Varnish. The transparent acrylic varnish increases colour intensity and vibrancy while protecting the painting against dirt, dust and the effects of UV light.

The varnish dries to a clear, flexible, hard and non-tacky surface that improves the durability of the painting and helps prevent yellowing and discolouration caused by humidity, heat and UV light. It is semi-transparent when applied and becomes completely transparent when dry.

Apply to a completely dry painting using long, even brushstrokes. Up to three thin coats can be applied, allowing at least 24 hours of drying time between each coat. The varnish should not be diluted with water and should be stirred gently before use to avoid air bubbles.

Permanent and cannot be removed after application.
