Sennelier, a French manufacturer of artists' colours since 1887, presents an innovation inspired by pastel artists' experiences: a range of 48 wood-free pastel pencils that are as intense as they are practical.
Without a wooden casing, they consist entirely of pure pigment throughout, maximising the amount of usable colour. They are highly pigmented, offering exceptional colour richness and vibrancy even with light pressure. Thanks to their semi-soft consistency that combines firmness for precise control with creamy softness for effective blending – they are ideal for both fine details and dynamic strokes. With low dust formation, they provide a cleaner application compared to conventional soft pastels. They also stand out with superior lightfastness, where premium pigments maintain intense lustre and resist fading over time.
