ShinHan

ShinHan is a South Korean manufacturer of artists’ materials with a focus on high-quality colours for artists, illustrators and creatives. The brand combines extensive experience in colour manufacturing with modern technology and today offers a broad range including watercolours, gouache, acrylics and oil colours. ShinHan is used by professional artists as well as other creatives looking for highly pigmented artists’ colours with excellent colour properties.

Colour is at the heart of the ShinHan range. Great attention is paid to pigments, colour intensity and how the paint behaves during use. Through continuous product development and feedback from artists, ShinHan has developed different colour ranges suited to a variety of techniques and painting styles.

ShinHan is particularly appreciated for its watercolours. The range includes watercolours in a wide variety of shades for everything from transparent washes and soft gradients to more intense layers of colour. The colours can be mixed together to create custom shades and are suitable for both traditional watercolour painting and more illustrative techniques.
