Liquitex Recycled Plastic Canvas is a stretched painting canvas made from fabric woven from 100% recycled plastic bottles and mounted on an FSC-certified wooden frame. The canvas is suitable for both acrylic and oil paint and offers an alternative to traditional canvas for those looking to work with recycled materials.

The triple-primed surface is treated with highly pigmented white gesso, providing a smooth and reliable painting surface that is ready to use straight away. The medium-fine texture is suitable for a wide range of painting techniques and has been developed and tested with professional artists and the Liquitex technical team.

The canvas measures 40 × 40 cm, has a weight of 565 g/m² and is stretched over a 19 mm deep wooden frame. The canvas is stapled at the back of the frame for clean edges, allowing the painting to continue around the sides. Wedges are included for re-tensioning the canvas if required.
