The Liquitex Pro Heavy Body Retro Luxe Set contains five professional acrylic paints in a palette combining deep colours, warm earth tones and a shimmering metallic accent. The colour combination offers plenty of scope for working with contrasts, softer transitions and custom-mixed shades.

The Heavy Body range has a thick, creamy consistency and a high concentration of lightfast artist-quality pigments. The full-bodied paint retains brush and palette knife marks well, making it particularly suitable for building up layers and for techniques where texture and visible tool marks form part of the expression. Once dry, the colours have a durable, satin-matt finish, while Iridescent Rose Gold adds a shimmering effect.

The acrylic paints are suitable for canvas, paper, wood, card and other paintable surfaces. They can be combined with other Liquitex Heavy Body colours and acrylic mediums to vary consistency and effects.
