The lead holder can be adjusted from 0 mm to 5 mm by twisting the knurled grip section, and the amount of lead extended can be adjusted from 0.2 mm to 2 mm by twisting a section just above the grip. The barrel is made of aluminum and the grip section of brass, providing a sturdy and well-balanced feel.
