Schmincke Horadam Aquarell Retro Set is a tribute to Schmincke’s history and craftsmanship. Inspired by watercolour sets from the 1930s, it combines classic design with modern artist-quality colours. The compact metal tin is decorated with historical details and contains six 5 ml watercolour tubes – perfect for both collectors and creatives who appreciate finely crafted materials.

The colours belong to the professional Horadam range, renowned for its high pigment concentration, excellent lightfastness and outstanding rewetting properties. The shades produce clear, transparent washes and clean colour mixtures, making the set equally suitable for sketching and more detailed watercolour paintings. The colours are bound with Kordofan gum arabic, one of the foundations of the renowned Horadam painting experience.

The palette combines classic shades with three historic special colours reintroduced from the Schmincke archives. The result is a colour selection well suited to landscapes, illustration, travel sketching and traditional watercolour painting.
