Sennelier Pastel "à l'écu" contains 36 soft pastels in a varied selection of colours for artistic work. The pastels are made from fine pigments mixed with chalk and porcelain clay, giving them a very soft consistency and making them easy to apply, blend and tone.

The set contains 36 selected colours, providing a broad palette for working with colour mixing, contrasts and smooth tonal transitions. The pastels are supplied in a practical wooden box that protects the pastels and makes it easy to store and organise the colours between uses. The pastels should be fixed after use to preserve the finished result. Due to their chalk content, they are not suitable for washes.

The set contains: Apple Green (205), Bistre (061), Blue Gray Green (500), Blue Violet (333), Bright Yellow (341), Brown Lake (266), Cadmium Yellow Light (297), Cerulean Blue (261), Cobalt Blue (256), Flesh Ochre (016), Golden Ochre (127), Helios Red (681), Ivory Black (513), Lawn Green (148), Lemon Yellow (600, 602, 603), Magenta Violet (941, 944), Mummy (104), Naples Yellow (099), Orange (037), Prussian Blue (288), Raw Sienna (508), Red Brown (006), Reseda Gray Green (212), Sapphire Blue (620), Ultramarine Deep (388), Van Dyck Violet (409), Van Dyck Brown (439), Vermilion (083), Violet Brown Lake (441), Viridian (252, 256), White (525), Yellow Ochre (115).
