Kuretake Kasumisou is a finer-quality Japanese calligraphy paper with a texture and feel reminiscent of handmade paper. The paper is specially suited to Japanese calligraphy and allows the ink to spread in a beautiful and expressive way, adding variation and character to lines and brush strokes. Kuretake describes Kasumisou as a medium-weight paper with a handmade feel, designed to bring out the distinctive qualities of the way the ink spreads.

The medium-weight paper is suitable for use with calligraphy brushes and ink and works well for both practice and more refined calligraphy work. The sheets are in the traditional Japanese Hanshi format, which is used for calligraphy, and measure 24.2 × 33.4 cm.

The pack contains 50 sheets and comes in a resealable bag, making it easy to store and protect the paper between uses. Made in Japan.
