Pilot
Pilot Pen was founded in Japan in 1918 and is now one of the world’s largest pen manufacturers. Most Pilot pens on the market are designed for office and everyday use, but Pilot also produces exclusive writing instruments of the highest quality. Pilot is widely associated with innovative writing solutions and has developed new ink technologies at an impressive pace. The revolutionary FriXion pen uses erasable ink, which has understandably made it enormously popular with both children and adults. The ink disappears when exposed to heat, so the friction generated by the eraser tip makes it easy to remove mistakes. FriXion is no longer available only as a ballpoint pen, but also as a highlighter, marker and fineliner.
In recent years, Pilot’s product development has increasingly focused on creating new, more environmentally friendly models. Pilot’s entire range of pens made from recycled plastic is known as Begreen and is available in many different varieties. One example is B2P, a range of pens made from recycled PET bottles. To meet its environmental policy, Pilot has also introduced a number of measures to ensure that its production and distribution are sustainable from an environmental perspective.
Thanks to Pilot’s extensive production and clever solutions, its pens have become true classics and can be found in pencil cases around the world. Pilot pens are simply a must for pen enthusiasts, with the needs of the user always at the heart of their design.
