Kuretake Metallic Calligraphy Ink is a Japanese ink with shimmering metallic pigments, made in Japan and developed for calligraphy and other creative work where you want to create striking lines and details. The metallic sheen is clearly visible in the brushstrokes and changes subtly depending on how the light falls on the surface.

The ink is ideal for use with calligraphy brushes and other types of brushes and can be used for calligraphy, lettering, illustration and decorative details. The metallic effect looks particularly striking on dark paper, where the shimmering pigments create a clear contrast against the surface.

The bottle contains a mixing ball that helps distribute the metallic pigments evenly. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use until the ball can be clearly heard and the contents are well mixed.
